Salisbury Pancake Race Victory!

In Architecture, Awards, Competition, Salisbury, Team

The RBA team took some time out today to watch staff member Andy win the Salisbury Pancake Race!

After a shaky start, Andy won his first heat in a virtual photo finish before racing home in the next heat. The final was equally close but Andy sprinted past the vicar of St Thomas’s Church and a representative of Barclays Bank. He crossed the line first to take home the coveted golden frying pan! Andy also won a voucher for Cote Brasserie.

The race aims to highlight local poverty, homelessness and social exclusion. Spectators were encouraged to donate to Salisbury Foodbank, who organised the race together with St Thomas’s Church.
