Looking back to this lovely Richmond Bell project in Wiltshire, we can’t help but envy the chance to cool off in the natural swimming pool — crystal clear, chemical-free, surrounded by native planting and cooler than any regular pool. This single-storey kitchen extension blends beautifully with the original building at our traditional farmhouse project in Hampshire, marrying classic red brick and cottage garden vibes. The farmhouse lies in a conservation area and a National Landscape, as well as within the curtilage of an 18th century Grade II listed granary, so all design works had to be sensitively considered to reflect its heritage and respect the visual and environmental significance of its setting.
