The Richmond Bell team recently enjoyed a rewarding day out of the office, combining visits to two exciting current projects with an inspirational trip to Roche Court New Art Centre.
The first stop was Home on a Vineyard, a contemporary new house set against the backdrop of rolling farmland near Salisbury. The team were excited to see the significant progress made on site recently, and to experience first-hand how the building is beginning to settle into and complement its surrounding landscape.
The second visit took the team to a beautiful new Arts and Crafts style home in Hampshire, where the main house is now complete and receiving its finishing touches to interiors and landscaping. The client kindly showed the team around, sharing their enthusiasm for the project and offering a wonderful insight into how the spaces are coming to life — a reminder of why these long-term client relationships are at the heart of everything Richmond Bell does.
After a lovely pub lunch, the day was rounded off with a visit to the wonderful Roche Court New Art Centre in Wiltshire. The team felt truly privileged to be welcomed by Lady Bessborough, whose warmth and passion for the centre she created set the tone for a special afternoon. We were equally fortunate to spend time with architect Stephen Marshall, who guided the group through the new additions to the site, sharing his insight and expertise. Tea and delicious cakes provided a welcome interlude, before we were led through the beautiful grounds by a series of knowledgeable guides, exploring the remarkable collection of sculptures and art set within the landscape. It was a thoroughly inspiring conclusion to a memorable day.
