Congratulations to Richmond Bell Architects’ Architectural Designer Darienne, whose MArch Thesis Design Project, The Dolomites Centre for Climate Research, was nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal this summer.
The results were announced at the start of December and the project is now featured on the RIBA website alongside exciting projects from architecture schools around the world.
Darienne’s project was also awarded a RIBA South Award for the Highest Standard of Detail in Design, and the Architecture PLB Sustainability Prize.
Darienne started her journey with Richmond Bell Architects over 5 years ago as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, and the company then undertook to sponsor her through her Masters as part of a Degree Apprenticeship at Portsmouth University. She is due to qualify as an Architect next summer.
It is great to see all her hard work on her course has been recognised and rewarded with such prestigious awards.
