Wellness Walk

November 2025

Members of the Richmond Bell team wrapped up warm for a walk around Salisbury as part of their Studio Hour session this week.

The walk took us from the office, through St Martin's Churchyard to Churchill Gardens where we admired the river, trees, swans and squirrels, before walking to Salisbury Cathedral. A stroll around the Cloisters and a look at the Magna Carta and the West front of the cathedral, followed by a lap of the Cathedral Close left us feeling refreshed and invigorated for the afternoon. We felt we had definitely earned a slice of the RBA Bake Off entry for the week - a delicious carrot cake!

The Richmond Bell team have a Studio Hour session every week, where we watch inspirational videos or listen to podcasts and learn about topics affecting our health, lifestyle and the wider community and environment, followed by an often lively discussion! Particular favourites have been listening to Robert MacFarlane read from his book and watching Amie McNee present her case for 'making art when the world is on fire'!

The walk was a great success too, and will hopefully become a regular fixture on the Richmond Bell calendar!
