Off Grid Site Progress

In Architecture, Contemporary, Design, New build, Residential, Sustainable

Exciting progress has been made at our off grid new build near Shaftesbury as the roof is now on.

It’s great to see the house really starting to take shape. The contractors have also completed the natural stone cladding to first floor level. The client has chosen the timber cladding details for the building, and the windows are scheduled to be delivered and installed next month. The position and design of the house have been carefully chosen to minimise impact on the surrounding countryside. It will be completely off grid, with a solar panel array providing 95% of its energy needs.
