Sustainability CPD

 In Architecture, Renovation, Sustainable

The RBA team had an interesting CPD session last week with Chris Brookman from Back to Earth, suppliers of sustainable building materials, many of which are recyclable and recycled.

Chris told us about different types of insulation, in particular wood fibre insulation. He also provided advice on specific materials that we could incorporate into a current project. Chris reminded us to consider not only heat insulation but also sound insulation when specifying products for buildings.  Many of their products are made from recyclable and recycled materials, ensuring a minimum impact on the environment to create a true eco home.

As a firm, RBA has a strong interest in sustainable architecture and were interested to learn about what Back to Earth do. We came away with plenty of ideas on how to make our projects more environmentally friendly. Thanks Chris!
