Pool House Site Visit

 In Architecture, Articles, Reviews

Earlier this week, Richmond Bell Architects’ James and Matthew visited one of our projects in Wiltshire, where work has begun on the installation of a natural swimming pool and pool house.

So far, the pool has been dug out to 2.5m in the deeper end, and a concrete base laid down the length of the pool. The steel work is starting to go in for the glazed gable ends, and the Chilmark stone for the sides is in place ready to go. The building makes use of modern technology with SureCav wall spacing panels that allow a stone, slate, brick and flint outer skin to be built without the need of an additional block leaf.  For more details of the Richmond Bell Architects project, see here.
