Planning Permission Submitted

 In Architecture, Planning, Renovation, Residential

We are pleased to announce that full planning permission has been submitted to Wiltshire Council for Vale House near Shaftesbury, following a successful pre-application.

The plans consist of the replacement of an existing outbuilding with a new, modern single storey extension. The proposal has been designed to be environmentally friendly and sustainable, implementing charred-timber cladding, green roofs and walls to reduce the carbon footprint and to create a microhabitat for small insects and flowers. The doors and windows will be framed with dark coloured aluminium to blend in with the timber cladding, which will also conceal the gutters and downpipes. The house lies within the Cranborne Chase Area of Natural Beauty and the extension has been designed to conserve and enhance the surrounding landscape.

An internal reconfiguration and extensive landscaping will also be carried out as part of the works.
