Refurbishment of Notting Hill villa

 In Architecture, Residential

We are moving forward with phase 2 of the refurbishment of this Edwardian villa in South Kensington.  The basement is undergoing an extension, lengthening it to under the garden terrace.  The whole property has been redesigned, with phase 1 already completed on the upper floors of the building.

The basement will house the swimming pool, which is of good size for a private property in London, together with the newly created gymnasium.  Testing is underway to check for leaks before the final works are completed on the pool.

The lower ground floor to basement will incorporate not one, but two feature staircases with a spiral staircase encasing a unique totem, beginning at the open air terrace.  The second staircase is a vast, sweeping affair with LED lighting giving access from the lower ground floor to the basement.

We are delighted to be working with award winning London Interior Designers, Nicholas Haslam who inspire imagination and continental chic for clients seeking an international look for their homes.
