Oak-Framed Stables Progress

In Architecture, New build, News, Renovation, Residential, Sustainable

Exciting developments on the large Richmond Bell Architects project in Buckinghamshire last week! Part of the project involves the construction of oak-framed stables.

We were pleased to receive photos from the site showing that the timber frames for this have now been put up by CarpenterOak (working following social distancing guidelines!). They have erected and built the oak-framed structure using traditional methods. The oak used comes from PEFC certified European forests meaning that it is from a sustainable source.

The garage and pool house will also be built with CarpenterOak. The RBA team are currently liaising with them and the engineers to keep the project moving despite the C-19 shutdown.
