Simon studied architecture at the University of the West of England. He went on to complete his Part II at Arts University Bournemouth, graduating in 2015. Simon qualified as an Architect from the University of Portsmouth in 2018.

Simon previously worked at a local firm specialising in residential projects, including barn conversions and renovations. He is inspired by the work of John Pawson, in particular his simple use of materials and natural light.
