About us
Richmond Bell Architects is a design-led firm of RIBA chartered architects. Our projects vary in scale and type, from large commercial projects in London to high-end residential projects in the South of England. They include works to Listed Buildings and contemporary new-build houses.
This is an opportunity to join a quickly expanding, dynamic practice. You will be working as part of a small and friendly team, will be expected to show initiative in undertaking tasks and will have the ability to communicate and share ideas.

Senior Architectural Technician
The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp and have knowledge of a variety of different construction types and technologies. Familiarity with Vectorworks and Revit is desirable.
Applicants should have a solid understanding of the UK Building Regulations and CDM Regulations. You will be responsible for producing comprehensive technical details, working drawings and tender packages.
A minimum of 5 years experience is required, including experience in running your own projects.
Salary: competitive, dependent on experience, paid overtime.
Hours: 25-35h/week
Junior Architectural Technician
As with the Senior Technician role, you will be proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp and have knowledge of a variety of different construction types and technologies. Familiarity with Vectorworks and Revit is desirable.

Part 1 Architectural Assistant
Applicants will have a good understanding of contemporary and traditional house design, and outstanding design and presentation skills. You will be skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign, with experience of Vectorworks an advantage.
As an Architectural Assistant you will play a key role in helping to define the future direction of the practice. You will also have the chance to work on exciting high-end residential projects, and gain a wide range of experience at different stages of design.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, with paid overtime
Hours: 37.5h/week
